Nerve’ is the title of the fictional game in the movie wherein who wants to be part of it can choose whether to be a watcher or a player . A watcher watches the player doing dares where the players must accomplish.It’s about the blonde girl called Venus, who decides to become a “player” in an online game, where she earns money by doing dares that she gets on a constant basis from anonymous “watchers” who are basically stalking her life and wanting to see her do whatever they want. The Nerve tells about the life within a game. It also tells what will happen if the people will behave or act if the internet will be used evilly. It shows how we apply our learnings through Internet, and how can we used it to in our lifetime. Some say’s the movie were a bit trite, but for me  it is important to be discussed especially nowadays. The Nerve is a movie that imposes reality and the future. It illustrate’s the good effect and the bad effects in it. Whether we admit it or not, we are somehow controlled by social media or the internet. The movie made me realized to be wise when using the internet and use it for the important matters only and use it moderately, not for addiction.
I thought the idea of NERVE, the online game, was inspired, to be honest. I think everyone in our digital generation  let’s call it that  can relate to it on a personal level. The movie succeeded in bringing to light many things that we already do without thinking,gets you to wonder about your own online identity, and how you want your role on social media to look like.

Media are the communication outlets or tools used to store and deliver information or data.
Social media by its nature is a free space that allows equal access and sharing of information.
Do Media shape Us or Do we shape Media. We need to be aware and to see how Media shape our lives.
Every person who signs up has a profile and has their own voice in media, a place to express their interests, ideas and beliefs.
Everyone has an opinion, story to share,  ideas, thoughts and feelings , how to guides and countless other ideas to share. Online and social media makes that possible.  Social Media is where the conversation is happening. Media shape us, change us, and a voice of our lives.
Because of media a lot of things change more especially the atmosphere of the society. We can also say, we shape Media, its because media is an instrument where in we are the  player of the society. Certain forms of social media like Facebook, twitter and everything related through social  have been abused by some users for nefarious activities, that is why we should learn to be more empowered to make responsible decisions in social media.
It is then up to the individual to use their ability of reasoning between good and evil, and not being ignorant, willfully or otherwise in using social channels. In a simple statement: people must not behave stupidly online, and work at displaying responsible credible interaction.
Media shape Us, because we shape Media, its a cycle that turns back, from where it starts.
